Silverleaf Nightshade farm walk - Wombat

Join us on a farm walk to learn about the noxious weed silverleaf nightshade! The day is ideal for farmers, agronomists, resellers, government agency staff, community groups and members of the public. The day will be hosted by NSW Department of Primary Industries principal weed research scientist Dr Hanwen Wu, joined by local consultant Phil Bowden.
There will be presentations on:
- Up to date research information on silverleaf nightshade
- Effective management of this weed
- A “Dual-Action” strategy
- Paul O'Connor of ‘Oxton Park’ will share his experience in managing silverleaf nightshade
- Q&A session for farm walk participants to ask questions about best control options for their local area.
Morning tea will be from 8:30am
Location: ‘Oxton’ Park woolshed, 12km Wombat Rd from Burley Griffin Way or 4km from Wombat.
