Sponsorship of Landcarers to attend the State Landcare Forum & Awards - Tamworth 25th-27th October

As part of the National Landcare Program being delivered through the Murrumbidgee CMA, 24 Landcarers from the Murrumbidgee will be sponsored to attend the State Landcare Forum & Awards to be held in Tamworth, 25th - 27th October.

This is a generous sponsorship package including Forum registration, travel and accommodation for 2 people from each Landcare Network. Accommodation is twin share including breakfast. Travel is by coach departing Wagga Wagga Wednesday 24th October and returning Sunday 28th October.

From the 2006 Regional Landcare Awards, 3 nominees have made it to the finals of the State Landcare Awards:

* John Ive - Individual Landcarer
* Riverglades Restoration Project - Rivercare
* Picaree Hill Project - Nature Conservation

Nominations from each Network need to be with Murrumbidgee Landcare by Friday 5th October. If you wish to nominate, please contact your Network Chair.
